Love at first sight is a hoax. People wish to believe that they aren't alone in the world because they don't want to face a scary truth. So they go on and on about how they "just know". It is ridiculous because you can't know who anyone is inside by just looking at them. Plus they just want an easy way through all of the hard work others go through trying to find love. These people who also go through life looking for love are also imbeciles. They could be happy or do something productive with their lives while not in love. Occasionally people who search desperately for love do accomplish good things and that is fine. If you can go through a normal, productive life still looking for love, then go ahead, you are not holding anyone else back in their life.
